What areas of the building will be closed due to construction?

information on exactly which D-wing areas will be closed.

When will construction work begin and how long will it last?

Construction activity will begin on February 15, 2016. Demolition work is

scheduled to begin on March 1 and work will continue into the Spring of

2017.

How will construction impact parking?

The JSCBB lot, Lot 543, will remain open and accessible to all permit holders

and guests. The pay station spaces will be moved from their current location

at the east side of the lot to spaces nearby. Handicap spaces will remain in

their current locations.

Will there be noise disruptions?

The simple answer is, yes. This is a major construction project, however, the

contractor will do whatever is reasonably possible to minimize the noise

impact. The largest anticipated disruptions will be communicated in advance

so that building occupants can plan accordingly. Please watch the weekly

building newsletter and this website for information about potential

disruptions.

Will there be system outages?

Yes, however, these outages will be communicated as far in advance as

possible so that building occupants can plan accordingly. Please watch the

weekly building newsletter and this website for information about scheduled

outages.
